Earthquake in Mexico

A powerful 7.1 magnitude earthquake in Mexico has killed more than 200 people, injured more than 700, and destroyed buildings and homes over a large area. Many are without electricity and struggling to recover. This comes on the heels of an 8.1 magnitude earthquake just days earlier on September 8.

Oxfam is assessing the damage and identifying the most urgent needs of affected people. We are coordinating with the government and other aid organizations, and developing a response plan to address affected peoples’ immediate relief and long-term recovery needs.

Donate now to help emergency responders save lives in this disaster. 100% of funds designated for the earthquake in Mexico will be used for support services and relief and recovery efforts for affected areas.
