Tell President Obama: End the bloodshed in Syria
In the four years since the war in Syria began, more than 200,000 people have been killed and more than 11 million people have been forced to flee their homes – including more than four million to neighboring countries.
With your help, Oxfam has helped nearly 1.5 million people across Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan with lifesaving aid – but we must also do all we can to push our leaders to forge a lasting peace in the region.
There is hope in Syria – we see it every day. Local advocates are helping establish ceasefires, and every day Syrians are providing their neighbors with humanitarian assistance. We all can – and should – stand beside them.
President Obama and Congress have shown a commitment to address the threat posed by ISIS, but they need to do more to address the wider conflict and make peace in Syria.
